A familiar puzzle, a fixed destination
Word ladders connect one word to another through single-letter changes. This edition always ends at FEET and offers a shared daily start plus unlimited practice. It is independently developed and is not affiliated with or endorsed by other Feetle games or their creators.
Rules you can inspect
The game accepts 1,853 four-letter words and chooses starts from 826 words with shortest routes between three and seven moves. A breadth-first search from FEET computes distances and confirms that every start can be solved. Daily starts follow a fixed, deterministic rotation.
The word list is based on an openly licensed English word collection. Source links and license notices are provided below. This edition uses its own fixed subset, so a word accepted by another game may not be accepted here.
Friendly rankings
The server validates each daily move and calculates published scores from saved progress. That prevents a submission from simply declaring an invented score, but does not prevent someone from consulting a solver or replaying in another browser. The leaderboard is intended for friendly competition, not prizes or proof of unaided performance.
